First Communion

"And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”

Our First Confession and Holy Communion preparation course begins when children are aged 7 and above. Classes begin in February, taking place in the church hall on a Saturday.

First Confession is in April and First Holy Communion in June.

"God our Father has marked you with his sign;

Christ the Lord has confirmed you and has placed his pledge, the Spirit, in your heart".

 Confirmation preparation begins every year in March for those aged 12 and over, with the Sacrament taking place in May/June.

"Confession heals, confession justifies, confession grants pardon of sin, all hope consists in confession; in confession there is a chance for mercy"

- St Isidore of Seville

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is always available through appointment and following the Saturday 9:30am Mass

Holy Matrimony

"God unites husband and wife so closely in Himself that it should be easier to sunder soul from body than husband from wife."

-St francis de Sales

Marriage preparation classes take place before marriage. Contact Fr Iain if you would like to discuss.

"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord". - James 5:14

Please contact Fr Iain if you require him to administer the Anointing of the sick.

The Pastoral group arrange Masses for the sick and elderly members of the parish at various times of the year.
